I write simply because I wish to enhance another's life and give them something positive to enjoy if only for a little bit.
I am single, 58 years-old and retired after working 35 years in the medical insurance field as a Senior Claims Analyst. I know everything there is to know about the handling of a healthcare claim; but I have found since retiring, that there is so much more to life than being great at just one field. I've always written, but it became more of an enjoyment for myself. When I retired, I realized I wanted to share and hope that I could help others enjoy life by using facts blended with fiction and a dash of humor thrown in. After all, life is about all emotions, not just sad but happy moments too. I have edited a lot of friends articles and stories for fanfiction, so I haven't been paid that much, but I found it to be very rewarding and think I can be a valuable asset to anyone needing editing. I have one grown daughter and two beautiful grandchildren and I am enjoying my life. I started a family young, so now I can enjoy them and still be able to do things with them. Right now, though, as we are all self-quarantining, I've found myself getting restless and with a lot of spare time on my hands. I want to do something I enjoy and earn a little along the way.
Work Terms
Prefer evening hours part-time and am willing to try just about any writing style. There is not much that will prevent me from meeting my goals and deadlines. I look forward to proving my worth.
