Hi, I'm Mike Swaim and I am a professional illustrator and cartoonist with over 30 years experience as a professional cartoonist/illustrator, and I would LOVE to be the one chosen to bring your project to life! I am proficient in many different media, including marker, colored pencil, acrylics, watercolor and most recently, digital media. I have won awards for political cartooning for my work at the Georgia State University newspaper, The Signal, and created a comic strip for an insurance periodical, The Actuarial Digest, that ran for over 22 years. In addition, I have illustrated over 40 children's books over the past 8 years, as well as T-shirt designs, posters, ad campaigns, and many other forms of print media. I have become proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator over the past few years and am mastering several other Creative Suite apps as well. I will stop at nothing to create artwork for your project to your exact specifications. I am flexible, easy to work with and am amenable to time and budgetary concerns, and am totally open to client input and revisions.. Work Terms
My hourly rate is $30.00/hour. For flat-fee projects my terms are as follows: One-third project initiation fee, one-third midway completion fee, one-third payment when project is completed to the mutual satisfaction of both parties.
