Work Terms
Working Hours & Availability
I work Monday through Saturday and typically respond within a few hours during business hours (9:00–19:00 GMT-5, South America). I check messages several times a day, including a final review each evening. For active projects I provide progress updates at least once per working day, so you always know exactly where your project stands without having to ask.
Payment Terms
All work runs through Guru SafePay for both our protection. For fixed-price projects under $300, I ask that the full amount be funded in SafePay before I start. For larger projects, I split the work into clearly defined milestones with their own deliverables and acceptance criteria — each milestone is funded before it begins and released on your approval of the agreed deliverable. I don't request any payment outside the platform, and you'll always know what you're paying for before I start: every quote includes a concrete list of deliverables and a delivery date that already accounts for a safety margin.
Preferred Communication Style
Written and asynchronous — this is deliberate, not a limitation I hide: everything we agree on stays documented in the project thread, so scope, decisions and acceptance criteria are always traceable. I don't do phone or video calls; in my experience, well-written specs and frequent written updates prevent far more misunderstandings than meetings do. I communicate in English (written) and Spanish (native). Complex questions get a structured written answer, usually with options and my recommendation, so you can decide quickly.
