About

Exceeding Expectations since 1969!

I am a multi-faceted person with a unique set of skills. My background is in education (middle school through adult learning). I have been a public school teacher, taught at a community college, worked as a Business Analyst for several industries, created online learning experiences, been a Technical Writer, Corporate Trainer, Quality Assurance Analyst, and a Project Manager. As well as, "other duties as assigned" whether that means managing web site content, developing SharePoint environments for collaborative work, or Photoshopping co-workers into funny compositions on their birthdays.

Along my path in life, I have also been a live-in nanny to three boys, a handyman at a nursery/garden business, an electrician's assistant in new home construction, a summer camp counselor, and tutor. Currently, I am a free-lance instructional designer, seamstress, and 200RYT certified yoga teacher. I am also a wife, daughter, sister, aunt, hedgehog-owner, and Shelby Cobra driver just one step ahead of the law! Ok, so maybe I'm not THAT bad-ass. But I do enjoy driving fast when conditions are good.

I am honest, plain-spoken, don't do well with the "games" we all have to play or don't enjoy them. I produce good work products no matter the work. Need a prom dress? You got it! Need a training course for your employees? I'm on it! Want a user guide for new software? No problem! Need to learn to slow down and relieve stress? I can help. Want to feel the wind blowing through your hair? Hop in!

Work Terms

I am a one-woman shop. I (unfortunately) don't have a team of cute little Minions who I can delegate work to. I do 100% of the work for you.

I take great pride in my work and have consistently provided high-quality products for my employers. To be able to provide excellent work for you, defining the scope and requirements for your project is critical.

EVERY project will have a scoping phase during which we will work together to hammer out the details so I can produce a pretty darn close to spot-on product for your review. The scoping phase is $250 for the first 5 hours of work. Scoping is priced in blocks of 5 hours, with each block priced at $250. Any scope and/or requirements documents produced will be yours to do with as you wish.

Once the scoping process is complete, I can provide a project estimate for time and cost. If and when changes come up during a project as they tend to do, we can negotiate those items to determine whether or not to include them and discuss how the changes will affect the project cost.

SafePay (escrow) is the payment method for all projects. Only projects that have been funded/collected will be worked on. For projects completed in phases, each phase must be funded/collected before I can begin work.

Communication is via email for the majority of projects, however conference calls or web conferences are also possible. All project related information, requests, decisions, and related communication must be in writing.
