Oracle Programmer/Consultant

• Hands on experience with Data Warehouse, UNIX Scripting, ETL and Control-M.
• Hands on knowledge on Oracle Database Administrator in Oracle (9i, 10g, 11g).
• Hands on knowledge of Database Modeling and management.
• Good Exposure and knowledge on Banking & Finance Domain.
• Experience in requirement gathering, functional and technical documentation and application development using Oracle PL/SQL.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, SQL Stored Procedures, Packages, Functions, Cursors, Triggers, Object Oriented and Collections and SQL*Loader, XML DB.
• Performed performance tuning using Cost-Based Optimization (CBO).
• Responsible for Oracle performance related features such as Query Optimizer, Execution Plans and Indexes (B Tree, Bitmap and Function Based).
• Experience with Performance Tuning for Oracle RDBMS using Explain Plan and Hints.
• Created records, tables, collections (nested tables and arrays) for improving Query performance by reducing context switching.
• Monitored database activities, performance, and size.
• Hands on experience on IBM Rational Team Concert which provides a lean collaborative lifecycle management solution with agile and formal planning, project reporting, process workflow, work item management, source code management and build management, in a single integrated product supporting all popular platforms.
• Proficient problem-solver who envisions business and technical perspectives to develop workable solutions.
• Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skill.
• Good team player and capable of working individually with less supervision.
• Have done shell scripting on Linux.
