Professional business-driven software development

I'm a US based developer with over 20 years experience in professional software development. I specialize in business software in PHP/MySQL, including both outward-facing sites and intranets. I worked on a team that developed a SaaS application supporting churches (which lasted 10 years until it was purchased), three years developing and maintaining sales/purchasing for an EMS company, 3 years on job tracking for an aviation maintenance firm (Laravel/PHP). I designed and built a warehouse system to track inventory from receipt to shipping. I have designed,built, and still maintain a Laravel/PHP accomodations system to support the rental of vacation homes. All of these systems integrate with others through APIs. I am able to take a project from inception through launch, including server management (dedicated, AWS, etc), database design, systems integration.

Work Terms

I work 7 days a week, but not all day. How many hours varies by my client's needs. I'm usually available for a call from 9-11, 1-6 Pacific time, but I can be available outside of those hours as needed. I work hourly only because fixed specs (which are needed for fixed prices) never happen in a changing business environment.
