• Over 14 years of experience in collaboratively working with team members including Project Managers, Architects, Developers, Business Analysts, Quality Analysts, and clients and client partners to design, develop and support Java based financial services web applications.
• 5 years of Team Lead experience in the full Software Development Life Cycle, leading the design, development, implementation and support of Java based web applications and system enhancements to new and existing projects
• Skilled in defining scalable, normalized, behaviourally rich data model and database
• Skilled in designing and developing code that utilize my proficient object-oriented design and data
modelling skills, resulting in data and code that is maintainable, understandable, re-usable, extendable, reportable, and exchangeable (using Java, XML, REST, JSON and Web Services).
• Advanced level of knowledge and skill in all stages of the development life-cycle:
requirement analysis, design specification and documentation, development, deployment, and post implementation including production support, defect resolution, maintenance, and product enhancements.
• 12+ years of experience developing Java based financial services web applications:
o Data modelling and object modelling
o J2EE (1.4 and 1.5) development using Java, Struts, JSP, Javascript, HTML to design and develop data-tier and business objects in addition to coding front-end presentation web pages
o Design and development of business to business web interfaces, using Web
Services, XML,REST, JSON, WSDL, AXIS, SOAP, HTTPS, JMS
• Development on Oracle and SQL Server databases using database persistence layer Hibernate
• 10+ years of development experience coding DDL\DML SQL to query and alter Oracle and SQL Server databases, for the purpose of database design, development, data migration, and unit testing.
