let's make something cool

Nikki Sass is a filmmaker/ painter who just moved to Atlanta from Detroit. During her late teens and twenties she modeled for fine art photographers which lead to her own interest in photography and later film. Sass graduated from the College for Creative Studies in Detroit with a BFA in Fine Art.

She works on film crews in set dec and paint departments. Some of the films she’s been a part of include: Oz the Great and Powerful, Transformers: Age of Extinction and Batman v Superman.

Her most recent project to direct and edit is a feature-length art documentary on large-scale outsider art in Detroit. It took 3 years to complete and had its world premiere at the Bahamas International Film Fest in December.
