NXTGear LLC is a young start-up founded by my wife and I (Daniel and Rachel Boyd). The purpose of NXTGear is to provide engineering solutions across multiple industries, by cultivating an environment of innovation.

I am an engineer with a hunger for innovation and new product development. With over 10 years experience in the Aerospace industry, I have performed and lead multiple projects from design and development, to product realization and aftermarket.

I am an CAD designer with extensive experience in Autodesk Inventor, AutoCad, and Siemens NX unigraphics. Currently I spend most of my time as an Autodesk Inventor operator. My abilities allow me to create complex assemblies and systems with models as well as drawings for production use. I have examples of my abilities as a civil designer as well and currently operate in Revit 2017. In addition to design I am experienced in engineering analysis for structural, CFD, and thermal cases using Mecway.

My education has been tailored to specialize in data analysis, material failure anlaysis, and physics applications of both the classical and quantum theories.

Using my knowledge of both design and production from the aerospace industry, I am confident I can provide you with everything from concept to production readiness.
