Skilled in Performance Tuning, OVM, Oracle Database, Oracle ASM, Oracle RAC, Oracle GoldenGate, OracleData Guard, Linux and Unix administration as well as administering Single instance and Oracle RAC databases on Linux, AIX, Windows, HP-UX and Solaris.
I am highly experienced in ORacle High Availability solutions as I worked on many projects having the following architecture:
- Oracle RAC to RAC Data Guard
- Oracle RAC to RAC GoldenGate
- Oracle RAC to RAC DataGuard configured with RAC to RAC GoldenGate
- Multinode RAC configurations on OVM
- RAC to RAC DataGuard with multiple RAC standbys as well as Observer FSFO (Fast Start Failover). Successfully configured, tested and performed role transition on PROD environment and automated role transitions in the same environment with FSFO.
- Worked based on 24/7 support, dealt with major PROD issues.
- Successfully configured and applied Oracle Data Guard Far Sync instances on geographically far located standbys in order to avoid slowness and latency.
- Have high experience on Oracle Cloud Control and all BAU activities.
- Successfully migrated Oracle databases from physical servers to OraaS as well as performed OraaS to OraaS migrations.
- Have high skill in Investigation, remediation and prevention of performance issues and slowness on Oracle database
