Work Terms
Payment & Milestones
I work exclusively through SafePay to ensure a secure and transparent transaction for both parties. For most engineering projects, I propose a milestone-based payment structure:
Milestone 1 (Project Kick-off): 20% upfront deposit to begin structural modeling and data verification.
Milestone 2 (Preliminary Delivery): 40% after submitting initial structural layouts or preliminary analysis for client feedback.
Milestone 3 (Final Delivery): 40% upon delivery of the complete calculation report, final blueprints (PDF/DWG), and technical documentation.
Communication Policy
Availability: I am available for communication Monday through Friday. I aim to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.
Channels: I prefer using Guru’s message board for project. However, I am open to scheduled video calls (Zoom/Google Meet) for complex technical coordination or project briefings.
Revisions & Scope
Included Revisions: Each project includes up to two (2) rounds of minor revisions (e.g., adjusting labels, minor dimension tweaks, or material grade changes).
Out-of-Scope Changes: Significant structural changes requested after the analysis phase has been completed (such as modifying the architectural footprint, adding floors, or changing the structural system) will be treated as an additional scope of work and quoted accordingly.
Deliverables & Intellectual Property
Standard deliverables include high-quality PDF and DWG files.
Source files from analysis software (ETABS/SAP2000) or custom Python scripts are included only if explicitly agreed upon in the initial proposal.
Full ownership of the final design documents is transferred to the client upon the release of the final payment.
