About

Artist. Teacher. Creative.

I am a lover of the arts; my education background is in technical theatre and performance and I have a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from DePaul University. I am a writer in my personal time and enjoy writing creative essays and poetry. In college I was an English tutor for high school students and a peer tutor for my classmates, helping in writing papers, building resumes and cover letters, and crafting admissions essays for higher education. I have worked as a teaching artist in costuming and theatrical performance, built curriculum, created seasonal course structures, and taught group courses from ages 8 - 18 in both a classroom and camp setting. I enjoy creating and building art with my own hands, as a free-lance costumer for the Chicago theatre community.

Work Terms

Email is the most time-effective communication for me. My work hours will fall outside of the Monday through Friday, 9-5 work day, as I am a stay-at-home Mom and will work in the evenings. Payment is flexible.
