I write pretty decent code, pretty quick
I am a highly motivated software engineer with a wide breadth of experience in backend web development, cloud and distributed systems solutions. I am a certified AWS Associate Developer and have 4+ years of practical experience using a wide range of their services. I embrace the DevOps culture that comes with cloud computing and feel very comfortable designing and managing the entire web stack.
I have coding experience in most modern languages and frameworks, but I feel most comfortable (and pleasure!) writing Python and Java. Recently, most of my experience comes from writing RESTful JSON APIs with Flask and Spring, but I've also worked with loads of fullstack frameworks earlier in my career (ask me why REST is better!).
Outside of coding and technology, I have a strong leadership background with managing teams and mentoring junior developers. I take great pride in code quality and customer success, and I try my best to spread those values to those around me as well.
