Work Experience:
• Worked with Welocalize India LLP (Google onsite), Gurgaon as a Senior Linguist (English-Hindi) holding the responsibilities of Review Lead and Quality Analyst from March 2019-October 2019. My job responsibilities were to translate Help, UI, and Marketing content, generate subtitles for videos, review the projects translated by Junior Linguists and provide them feedback accordingly, submit arbitration, manage a team of Junior Linguists, train newbie linguists, prepare training materials, be a part of client meetings to get feedback and pass it on to the team, and analyze weekly/monthly performance.
• Worked with Williams Lea - Tag Worldwide (Google onsite), Gurgaon as a Linguist (English-Hindi) from December 2017-March 2019. My job responsibilities were to translate Help, UI, and Marketing content, generate subtitles for videos, submit arbitrations, and edit & proofread projects translated by Junior Linguists.
• Worked with Syon Infomedia, Jaipur as a Junior Editor (English) from September 2015 to December 2016. My job responsibilities were to write creative and informative articles, edit writers’ copies, provide feedback to the writers and train them accordingly, and manage the team of writers.
• Internship with Focus News from June 2015- July 2015 at Entertainment Desk (Hindi). I learned to write scripts for news segments, edit chunks of videos to make an interesting piece, write scripts for a full-length package, and write pieces for provided briefs.
Freelance:-
• Working as a Subtitle & Creative Content Localization Consultant (English-Hindi/Hindi-English) for vendors like IYUNO, Braahmam, ZooDigital, IDC Digital NY, etc.
• Working as a Freelance Linguist (English-Hindi/Hindi-English) for the vendors like Pactera, Milestone Localization, EliteAsia, CCJK Technologies etc.
• Working as a Freelance Content & Copy Writer for the brand Kalānkit since April, 2021.
Work Terms
7 hours a day (11AM-6), 6 days a week (except Sunday), 30 days payment cycle, preferred communication style is Email/Skype
