I come out of 25 years in journalism as a reporter and documentary producer for public radio (Peabody Award, 2001). I love to help nonprofits and individuals use strong writing to communicate their values and story to the world through press releases, editorials, articles and blogs. I take a collaborative approach, working together to ensure you get what you need done. I prefer to work for clients who A. have a great mission, but may not know how to fully convey it and B. See the big picture. I live in Santa Cruz, California and in my "spare time" left over after a fairly full freelance schedule, I garden, play music, and hike.
