Hello!
My name is Rachel and I love small business. And marketing.
I graduated a couple years ago with my undergrad in marketing and liked it so much, I continued into the bonus round for my MBA. I'm new to Guru and am on here to pay off some student loans while I start my own business this Fall.
Here's the thing: most small business owners are too close to their own business to know exactly what to say in a succinct and clear way to get leads to buy their product or service. Either they talk about the history of the company, or ALLLL the features of their products or they use too many words and confuse potential customers. I can help small business owners figure out who their target market is and what to say to get them to buy. Small businesses that work with me won't be small for very long.
Last year, I helped one small business go from a few hundred dollars in sales to six figures by clarifying the message and creating compelling content.
I hate to waste time and I won't waste yours. I work hard and strive for excellence, but not perfection. I ship.
I also have a great deal of experience speaking and designing slides from my MBA program.

Work Terms
I prefer to work in the morning, but I'm flexible. I only take on one client at a time, so you'll be the priority until we are done.
My philosophy is: pay half now and half when we're done. That way we both have skin in the game.
