About

I aim to write applications using modern, best practices, utilizing well supported open-source code and community.

I started out as a Visual Basic / Classic ASP developer at a small company in Cary, NC. We wrote student tracking, and admission process applications for some of the neighboring major colleges. After cutting my teeth on VB, and ASP I decided it was time to move on to newer technologies and entered the world of .NET where I continued to write C# / ASP.net applications for the next 5 years.

Once I considered myself a professional I felt the need to give back to the programming world and start writing open-source frameworks as well as contributing to the already incredible amount of os projects available. From that point on it's been my goal to to utilize the open-source world in the most practical manner possible.

Work Terms

My hours are very flexible. I'm central time, and generally prefer working earlier than later. I find that my creative peaks in the AM. I communicate over IRC, Slack, Email, SMS, and whatever else works for the team, or product owners.
