Hi, my name is Rudolf Farkas. As you may know, I am passionate about fine arts. I have been a painting artist for over 30 years and a freelancer illustrator since 2006.
My name is Rudolf Farkas and I live in Budapest, Hungary. Basically I am a man who is living in a city, but love of animals and nature is not far from me. This can be seen in my artwork as well. I developed continuosly my talent which was discovered very early.I was graduated in 1978 the four year Fine Art Secondary School. In year 1980 I joined to Tibor Wessely open fine art group. This group has mainly concentrated on the realistic paintings and I picked up a lot of knowledge in this environment, but I think that major part of my knowledge is due to my diligence and endurance. My pieces of artwork were presented in many grouped and individual exhibition. In 2005 leading book publisher in Hungary asked me to make book illustrations . This year I can started creating the digital illustrations as well. Therefore, I have extensive experience in creating oil paintings and digital illustrations for children and educational books. From 2012 I am working at the team of Beehive Illustration Agency UK. Over the past 10 years, I worked on numerous projects with various well-known publishers such as Bloomsburry Publishing, Cambridge University Press, Harper Collins Publishers, Igloo Books Ltd., Oxford University Press, Penguin Random House, Weldon Owen Publishing,Ravensburger Company. One of my strengths is realistic representation. However, my interests vary from historic topics to flora and fauna. Nowadays, I can start to paint the oil paintings in hyper real styl again. I really like taking on new challenges, experimenting with my skills, coming up with creative ideas.
Work Terms
Most digital projects comprise 3 distinct phases: Rough Phase,Coloring Phase and Production Phase.
ROUGH(SKETCH)PHASE: Based on the brief, I am going to create the black and white drawing. In this round, the client has the opportunity to view the main details of the expected work and make suggestions for changes as well. At this stage, I will correct the drawings as requested by the client , if the customer has accepted the corrected drawing I will not be able to change them in the future.
COLORING PHASE: I will add the main colors to the drawing, here it is possible to change the feeling of the image. We can change the lights and colors. IMPORTANT: I can't modify the main character of the drawing, but very small details changes are possible.
PRODUCTION PHASE: I'll create the final view of the artwork. The smallest details of the image become visible.
You will be provided all files created for the project, including any editable files such as drawing and layered PSD files.
