I am a web developer with almost 3 years experience in the industry. I started my development career in November 2013 as an apprentice at cloud.IQ. I gained a lot of valuable knowlege and experiece at cloud.IQ and they helped me improve as a web developer.

My role at cloud.IQ consists of various different tasks. One of my tasks is to setup our clients with our analytics and re-marketing apps. A full setup requires me to use Javascript, MongoDB, MySQL and Perl. Another one of my task is to create bespoke functionality for clients. An example of this was creating an A/B testing script to determine what design provides the best results.

Alongside working at cloud.IQ I was studying to complete my apprenticeship with Just IT. During my apprenticeship I gained various different soft and hard skills. The main programming language I learned during my apprenticeship was C#. After my completing my training I took my exams which included MTA Software Development Fundamentals and CIW Internet Business Foundations. I passed all my exams and gained all the necessary credits to complete my apprenticeship.

After completing my Apprenticeship I was offered a full time job at cloud.IQ which I accepted. In March 2015 I won an award for the best development apprentice of the year.
