I absolutely love what I do! Since I first became an Instructor Navigator in 1994 I have been in love with developing other people’s skills, watching them experience those “Aha” moments and seeing some of them far exceed my capabilities. For more than 20 years I trained adults in navigation, tactics, leadership and management, in both military and civilian environments. I had the pleasure of being a Training Flight Commander, Tactics and Exercise Flight Commander and spent more than 7 years developing and directing U.S. Air Force operational training programs as the Deputy Director of Operational Training Division, US Air Force at the Pentagon. There I had the privilege to develop joint and defense training programs through strategic planning and effective management of staff and budgets. My final of 13 trips to the Middle East was as Squadron Commander of an Air Advisory Squadron responsible of advising/training the Afghan Air Force in running a Mission Support Group. This was an amazing way to culminate my 22 years of Active Duty in the US Air Force.

For the past 4 ½ years I’ve transitioned from the military and have learned to use my military training to developing the leadership skills of local current and future business leaders. I also volunteer as the Area 73 Director of Toastmasters International and as the Professional Development Officer of the Civil Air Patrol (a US Air Force Auxiliary) Tuskegee Cadet Squadron where I continue to develop both adults and young cadets.

Training is my passion and I look forward to see where my passion takes me in the next 20 years.
