Hi, thank you so much for checking out my profile! My name is Sara, I am Canadian and I am using Upwork as a platform to help me reach my goal of being an entrepreneur and location independent. I have a degree in social work from Université de Saint Boniface and I have been teaching English as a foreign language for one year.
From personal experience, such as academic writing and research and being a bookworm, and professional experience, like teaching English and writing for my blog, I believe that I have the proper skill set and knowledge to be a successful proofreader, editor and freelance writer. When it comes to my professional side, I would say that my strengths are being detailed and thorough with my work, being organized, and completing tasks early. I am a hard worker, who is dedicated to providing an excellent service and product.
I am proud to say that I am trilingual. English is my native language, I began learning French at the age of five in an immersion school and continued my education in this language through my entire university career, and I have been studying Spanish for the last four years and have been forced to become fluent since I have been living in Colombia for the last year. I am comfortable with writing, reading, speaking and listening in all three of these languages and I will gladly accept any work that is thrown my way.
Work Terms
I am currently working 20 hours a week doing contract work with two different companies. I would love to work as many extra hours a week as possible. I prefer to communicate by e-mail and my preferred payment method is PayPal or direct deposits when available.
