During my tenure at University of Sunderland, I developed a passion for marketing and public relations. I have sought out multiple opportunities to develop my marketing skills. For example, starting from 2018 in December – 2019 May, I have been working for the Hosteeva LLC, in Yerevan, Armenia, as the Customer Service Specialist, previous year 2017 in October – 2018 April, I interned at the US Embassy in Tashkent Uzbekistan. My position entailed assisting staff to maintain the ACT collection in proper order and organize outreach activities. I was able to utilize and improve my computer skills to assist the organization in their goal to promote sculpture.
As an American Center Tashkent Intern at US Embassy Tashkent, Uzbekistan in Public Affairs Section, I was responsible for updating information on customers’ database, register new comers, and update the information that being announced in our office for public. This involves downloading, printing and making copies of information from assigned websites. In addition to calling, I also email clientele. This calls for me to employ interpersonal skills to communicate with clients effectively and organized regular weekly clubs such as: Conversation and Chai Chat where I had to communicate with Americans, presenters or guests from other countries. Due to my strong communication skills, I have been given even more responsibilities. For example, I was a co-organizer of Local and National Spelling Bee Contest in Uzbekistan and collaborated with Educational Institutes to organize the place to hold the contest and had business trips.
I believe that my experiences in marketing and my interpersonal skills make me a prime candidate for this position. I am a diligent worker, and passionate about my work. I will be a valuable asset to your company and will use this as an opportunity to grow and further the development of my marketing skill set.
