An experienced manager in supply chain operations and projects, I have 24 years of experience in major industrial and service sectors. I spent many years in internationally operating companies managing all or part of their supply chains.
My primary role is project management; however, my secondary role is generally to provide a supply chain solution to a given problem!
On a personal level, I have a strong interest in renewable energy, Ashtanga, fencing, horseback riding, complex problem solving, and my little hobby: business novels.
My favorite tools are: project mode, expert meetings, Kaizen workshops, VSM, a bit of Lean or Six Sigma, depending on the needs of the given case and/or the teams in place; I often add a TOC approach and a pinch of ecology!
Generally speaking, I no longer describe myself as responsible for this or that: but rather as a project manager. For years, I have been learning from challenges I have faced in all kinds of situations; I have met peers, new teams, different cultures, and I have had unexpected experiences!
