I'm an experienced hard-working American with a solid practical and academic background in data science. I hold a Master's degree in Information Science from the University of North Carolina. Data mining is what I like best, data extraction and parsing is something I do well, and I am an accomplished database architect and software developer as well.
I have access to many rather expensive data tools which allow me to turn around projects quickly. I'm not going to be the least expensive bid, but my knowledge and experience will produce a superior product in little time.
I had been on hiatus from Guru for about 6 years, and apparently my ratings and previous earnings have dropped off. All my reviews had been positive, and I made significant money for myself, as well as my clients. Now that my kids are older, I have time to take projects again.
My main skills are in SAS, PHP, MySQL, Oracle, and C.
Work Terms
If there are fees in a transaction, the payer is expected to pay such fees. I generally quote by milestones or the whole project if it's small. I don't mind working on small projects, but I do have a minimum charge.
I rarely charge hourly. If a project requires it, such as a project which is ongoing or I am needed on a consulting/support basis, a retainer fee will be collected on a monthly basis.
