I am a water resources engineer and scientist with over ten years of experience in various water resources engineering projects (e.g., urban, industrial, agricultural, and environmental)
My principal areas of expertise are urban water systems design, groundwater modelling, water quality monitoring and simulations, flood mapping and protection measures, hydrological assessment and statistical modelling, rural and stormwater planning and management, streamflow observation and forecasting, watershed resiliency to droughts, floods and climate change impacts, environmental modeling, and risk assessment. My education background and training allowed me to gain an integrated systems thinking, develop innovative sources of data and modeling tools. Over the years, I have provided engineering solutions to a variety of clients in Egypt, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, and Canada in areas related to water allocations, surface hydrology, water quality, design and implementation of mitigation strategies against the potential impact of climate change and devise sustainable water use planning and management.
