Professional consultant with a lifetime of experience

I am a retired Microsoft developer specialising in Power Platform technologies. I have a wealth of IT experience using the Microsoft technology stack inc Dynamics 365, .NET, SQL Server, C# to name a few. I would like to return to work on a part time basis. What I can offer is my expertise, honestly, diligence and tenacity.

Consultancy
• I can comfortably communicate with technical and non-technical professionals.
• I am often involved in requirements gathering and liaising with key stakeholders and Subject Matter Experts.
• I can produce technical documentation.
• I have worked across a wide range of industries including engineering, finance, insurance, haulage, health and law.

Commercial
• I understand the commercial implications of developing solutions that are appropriate to budgetary constraints.
• I can offer advice on alternative solutions or raise concerns about issues that might arise during the project life cycle.

Reliance & Communication
• I can be relied upon to get on and do the job required without supervision because I am trusted and am aware of the necessities in regularly reporting back on progress and raising issues that might develop.
• I comfortable in situations where applications require (re)design whether it be from the bottom up or modified to suit new requirements.
• Whenever I encounter a problem, I will work to resolve the problem. If skills are required in overcoming the problem, I will work to acquire those skills. If that is not possible, I will find ways around the problem. If other people’s skills would help to resolve a problem, I will bring them in to overcome the issue.
• I do not ignore problems and leave them for someone else to deal with.
