As a seasoned IT consultant with extensive experience since 2010, my IT world journey has been challenging and rewarding. My passion for technology was ignited early on, leading me to delve into various facets of IT, including IT strategy, ITSM, organisational change management, and IT training.

A commitment to continuous learning and adaptation has shaped my career path. Starting as a curious enthusiast, I quickly realised the potential of IT in transforming businesses. This realisation fueled my desire to be a part of this change and lead it. I honed my skills, learning to navigate the complex landscapes of IT systems and strategies, and soon became a sought-after consultant.

My work ethic is deeply rooted in the belief that technology should simplify, not complicate, business processes. This principle has guided my approach to ITSM, where I emphasise the importance of aligning IT services with the needs of businesses. I am particularly proud of my ability to conduct thorough analyses of IT systems, identify inefficiencies and develop effective and sustainable strategic solutions.

A key aspect of my career has been the emphasis on organisational change management. I've learned that technical solutions alone are not enough; the human element is crucial. My projects often involve training and mentoring teams, ensuring they are equipped with new tools and ready to embrace new working methods.

My personal anecdotes often revolve around the challenges of keeping pace with the ever-evolving IT landscape. Outside of work, I have a range of hobbies that keep me balanced. I am an avid musician with a particular interest in brass music. I also enjoy sports and photography, finding peace in the tranquillity of nature. These hobbies provide a much-needed break from the high-paced IT world and help me return to my projects with a refreshed perspective and renewed creativity.

Work Terms

Regular Hours of Operation
- Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM
- Saturday: By appointment for critical issues or scheduled project work.
- Sundays and Public Holidays: Closed, except for pre-arranged emergency support.

Payment Terms
- Project-Based Billing: A detailed quote is provided upfront for defined projects. Payment is structured as 50% upfront, 25% at the midpoint, and 25% upon project completion.
- Hourly Billing: An hourly rate is applied for ongoing support or more minor tasks. Invoices are issued bi-weekly, with payment due within 15 days of the invoice date.
- Retainer Model: A monthly retainer fee can be arranged for long-term engagements, providing a set number of monthly hours.

Preferred Communication Style
- Initial Consultations: Preferably via video conferencing to establish a personal connection and understand the project scope.
- Ongoing Communication: Primarily through emails and scheduled calls. I am available for video calls as needed for in-depth discussions.
- Project Updates: If preferred, regular updates are provided through emails or a project management tool.
- Emergency Contact: I am reachable via mobile phone for urgent issues.
