Smooth U Biz is a Texas-based software studio that helps small and midsize businesses use AI where it creates practical operational value. We design and build custom systems around the way each client already works instead of forcing a generic tool onto the business.

Our services include AI-enabled customer and policy management, student learning platforms, internal knowledge bases, customer service assistants, document processing, CRM and sales automation, dashboards, reminders, reporting, multilingual web applications, and automated marketing workflows. We can connect new capabilities with existing software so teams spend less time copying information and more time serving customers.

Our experience includes insurance, education, and professional service workflows. A project normally begins with one costly or repetitive bottleneck. We map the process, define measurable outcomes, and deliver in controlled stages. Important decisions remain under human oversight, and the solution can expand after the first workflow is producing value.

The goal is straightforward: help the same team complete more work, respond faster, serve more customers, and create more revenue capacity without adding unnecessary complexity.

Work Terms

Standard availability is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM Central Time, with scheduled meetings available for other time zones. Communication is handled through Guru messages and agreed video calls.

Projects begin with written scope, deliverables, timeline, acceptance criteria, and milestone terms. We prefer Guru SafePay and milestone-based payments for larger builds. Initial engagements start at $500; the published $69 hourly rate is used when time-based work is appropriate.

We provide regular progress updates and keep clients involved in decisions that affect workflow, security, data handling, or cost. Scope changes are documented and approved before implementation. Confidential client data is handled only when necessary and according to the agreed security requirements.
