About

Healing Hearts through the Soul of Bollywood

SNAPS Gill, born in Jalandhar (Punjab), is a singer/songwriter/composer living in the city of Dubai. From an early age he has been involved in the creation of music. At the age of three years he started tapping his knees when his father brought him a tabla.

He started singing prayers and songs in front of large audience at an early age of four years. And at the age of 12 years, he was influenced by the living legend Gurdas Mann. SNAPS used to win awards for his singing talent during school days and found himself as lead singer in a rock band when he was completing baccalaureate degree. At this stage of life, he sang Bryan Adams' songs for his rock band and also won awards for singing Hindi and Punjabi songs at State Level University competitions.

A prolific artist in his native style was touched by watching living conditions of Punjabis in the Middle East when he moved to Dubai and started writing about their lives. This was his inspiration of writing the song 'Chhadna Punjab Nu', in which he described the present situation of the youth of Punjab in his own style and why everybody is leaving Punjab and settling abroad.

His first song 'Awaaz', written and composed by him was highly acclaimed in UK, Canada, Australia, India and New Zealand. 'Awaaz' was released through MR Records in the UK on major digital platforms across the globe and was recognized as one of the most listened to in the podcast of Radiocity Mumbai.
