Writer, producer, entrepreneur and businessman

I began my career as a newspaper reporter for the Associated Press in New York. I moved to China and over the next 10 years developed a series of successful television and Internet businesses. Highlights from that period include producing documentaries for PBS and founding Movieplace.com, a general-interest movie web site that went viral in the late 90’s.

Since 2000, I have been a marketing and communication executive for Xerox and numerous startups. I directed the internal communications of the largest Xerox division in North America and participated in sales efforts that resulted in new business worth over $1 billion.

I am passionate about improving the lives of the people of India, and led a fundraising campaign to open a Girls Home in Pune for abandoned and at risk children.
