Building the systems behind the business — code and strategy, done right.
I'm a self-taught full-stack developer and digital strategist based in Nairobi, Kenya. I help businesses figure out what to build , then build it.
Most of my work starts with a messy, informal business process: orders taken by phone call, quotes that take days to send out, no shared record between staff. I turn that into a working digital system: customer-facing tools, internal dashboards, and automation that people actually use day to day.What I do:
Full-stack development — I build with React and Vite on the frontend, Node.js and Express on the backend, and PostgreSQL (via Supabase) for the database. This covers custom quote calculators, order management systems, staff dashboards, and internal business tools built from the ground up.
Digital strategy — before any code gets written, I work with clients to figure out what a digital system should actually do for their business: what problem it solves first, what can be built later, and how it fits the way the business already runs.
WhatsApp and chatbot integration — I build conversational ordering tools using the WhatsApp Business API, connected to the same backend as the web platform, so pricing and order logic only exist in one place.
Business and content strategy — I currently handle digital strategy and client-facing content for a manufacturing business, alongside several external clients, so I understand both the technical build and the business reasoning behind it.
Recent project: built a complete ordering system for a concrete products company — address-based delivery pricing calculated automatically, a staff dashboard for managing incoming orders, and a WhatsApp ordering bot, all sharing one backend so nothing gets duplicated or out of sync.
I'm detail-oriented and I test everything before handing it over — you won't get a half-working demo from me.

Work Terms
I typically work in stages so you can see progress and give feedback early, rather than waiting until the very end for a finished product.
Communication: I respond within 24 hours on business days. For active projects, I share regular updates on progress and flag any blockers as soon as they come up rather than at the deadline.
Process: For development work, I usually start with a short discovery conversation to understand the actual business problem, then propose an approach before writing any code. For larger builds, I deliver in working increments so you can test and give input along the way, rather than one large handoff at the end.
Revisions: Reasonable revisions within the agreed project scope are included. Requests that go beyond the original scope are quoted separately before I start on them.
Payment: I work with milestone-based payments on larger projects, and hourly billing for ongoing or smaller-scope work. Details are agreed before work begins.
Tools: I typically work in VS Code with Git/GitHub for version control, and I'm comfortable collaborating through whatever project management tool a client already uses.
