I am originally from Detroit, Michigan and moved to Houston, Texas in 2008 after studying Journalism/Communications at Wayne State University. I began my career writing for the Baytown Sun, then landed a copyediting job at the Houston Chronicle.
While working in the editorial room, I yearned to write again... so I began sending pitch ideas to the news staff above me. My persistence paid off and I was soon reporting for the third largest newspaper in the nation!
I am a driven, passionate writer, with a keen eye for detail and structure. I can polish virtually any project, as I have experience in an array of editing and writing ventures. Past projects include ad scripting, marketing, SEO content writing, blogging, novel editing, pitch preparation and more.
