Hi,

My name is Taylor and I am a 28 year old professional female with a background in Oil and Gas- Business Development. Presently residing in Calgary, AB Canada.

The reason I am posting on Guru is I am following my dream and moving to Belize. In being here, while being very appreciative of the amenities, government, opportunities and overall life we live, I have come to realize that the "Keeping up with the Jones'" lifestyle is just not for me. I desire a much simpler life where I am able to utilize my knowledge, education and experience to create the life I seek. And the reality is, if I don't do it now, I'm not going to do it.

My goal is to secure a contract position, preferably longer term, with a company that will allow me to utilize some or all of my various skills to create a mutually beneficial relationship. I am trustworthy and a hard worker.

My experience is broad. While predominantly working within sales for the majority of my corporate career, it did not start that way. Initially I was contract project manager which included admin, data entry and liaising between departments. Further down the line I became involved in corporate presentations, sales (both inside and outside - order entry, quotes, quote follow up, cold calling, sales calls, customer service, pipeline management, etc), some marketing and writing process for departments.

I have completed various business to business sales courses. I also have a certification within industrial instrumentation from SAIT Polytechnic.

You will find I have superior communication skills, the ability to multi-task and am an excellent problem solver. On top of that my honesty, integrity and positive attitude is a wonderful addition to any business, company and team. I believe it has been a defining factor in my success.

Work Terms

As mentioned above my goal is to secure a contract position preferably longer term to create a mutually beneficial relationship. Utilizing one or many of my skills.

I will be working from a home office with a secure wifi connection along with various other communication tools (Skype, Webex, VPN, etc). Other programs necessary to complete the task at hand are open for discussion and can be secured dependent upon job validity and sustainability. I will also have a secure land line. Preference is for email communication due to distance but is not mandatory.

My ideal position is 20-30hrs/week @ $20USD/hr.
I would like to grow with a company as a remote extension arm :)
