GIS, Geology and geoenergy postdoctoral researcher at the University of Edinburgh.

Currently building a publicly accessible GIS database for hydrogen storage in the UK that includes geological, infrastructural and renewable energy data. This work is aimed to help first phase project assessments for hydrogen storage and assist government, gas network and renewable energy stakeholders plan for hydrogen storage.

Completed a PhD in structural geology, researching major lithospheric fault zones and metamorphic basement on Shetland and the North Sea (https://jgs.lyellcollection.org/content/jgs/178/1/jgs2020-078.full.pdf). Research methods include remote sensing, detailed geological mapping, petrology and laser ablation mass spectrometry.
