I am an applied biology researcher with a B.Sc. from Can Tho University and an M.Sc. from Kyushu University, specializing in biotechnology, food science, and aquaculture. My work focuses on developing biological solutions to enhance food quality, safety, and sustainability.
I have strong expertise in microbiology and molecular biology, particularly in the isolation and characterization of bacteriophages targeting pathogens in food and aquaculture systems. My technical skills include cloning, genome sequencing, bioinformatics, and protein analysis, enabling integrated studies from genetic to functional levels.
I have contributed to applied projects such as chitosan and protein hydrolysate production, advanced seafood preservation (slurry ice, nano-ice, deep chilling), and seafood quality management through microbiological, sensory, and biochemical analyses.
In addition, I have experience in sustainable aquaculture and environmental research, including value chain analysis, livelihood transition, marine plastic pollution, and salinity intrusion in the Mekong Delta. I also bring strong skills in experimental design, data analysis, project management, and scientific writing, and I am seeking remote opportunities in applied biosciences and scientific consulting.
