About

Medical Researcher

I'm a Nurse, and I've been a Medical Researcher for the past decade, with the ability to pursue the data that you want, regardless where it may be found. I've started working, during my graduation's second year in medical research, with parasitology and microbiology - I found out how contaminated one of my city's public hospital could be, then onto a Master's Degree at UFMA (and our partners at USP) profiling Treg-mediated response to Cutaneous Leishmaniasis lesions in patients from Maranhão - and then into a PhD in Medicine at USP, to find out how an Antimicrobial Peptide has a role in Skin and Breast Cancer Stemness. On my Post-Doc at University of Nevada, I've researched a fourth different way of viewing infectious diseases, assessing alternative care reach for HIV+ Immigrants out of Medicaid/Medicare systems in the Las Vegas Valley.

There is a why I chose last to research care - it demands an enormous amount of information and background to get to know how diverse people can feel cared for - and how to nurse them back to health.

Like caring, research is a passion, and I truly live by this!

Work Terms

- I prefer 30-40 hours/week with a long-term relationship;
- I love working remotely with other teams! I'm always interested in exchanging ideas around the globe;
- I like caring, so the data you need you be well taken care of;
- Rates are always negotiable depending on the project, the level of expertise required, additional offline research and... talk!
