Work Terms

Standard Work Terms & Conditions
To ensure a seamless workflow, high-quality execution, and successful project delivery, all design engagements are governed by the following standard terms:

1. Payment Milestones & SafePay Escrow
Fixed-Price Projects: To initiate work, the agreed milestone amount must be fully funded via Guru’s SafePay escrow system. Standard payment structure consists of a 50% upfront deposit and a 50% final payment upon project approval.

Hourly Projects: For hourly contracts, time tracking must be managed via the Guru Task Tracker, or bounded by a pre-approved weekly hour limit established prior to commencing work.

2. Project Brief & Scope Definition
A comprehensive project brief, design requirements, and existing brand guidelines (if applicable) must be provided by the client before any design work begins.

Any deliverables or design requests outside the initially agreed-upon Scope of Work will be treated as an additional milestone or billed separately at my standard hourly rate.

3. Revision Policy
I provide up to 3 rounds of major revisions during the core design phase to ensure the final creative output aligns perfectly with your vision.

Revision requests must be submitted within 7 days of a milestone or draft delivery. Major structural or layout changes requested after final project sign-off will incur additional fees.

4. Communication & Workspace Transparency
To maintain transparent project tracking and proper documentation, primary communication will be conducted through Guru WorkRoom messages.

Virtual alignment calls (video or audio) are welcome and can be scheduled in advance as needed.
