Vakalo AI was founded in 2025 by two passionate entrepreneurs, Saikiran Yadagini and Abijith Jaijo, driven by a shared vision to revolutionize content localization for India’s vast creator economy. Both founders left stable full-time roles to focus exclusively on building a solution that overcomes the challenge of robotic, impersonal dubbing by preserving creator voice authenticity and emotional nuance in multilingual content.
The journey began with extensive R&D on voice cloning and AI-driven language modeling, leading to the development of a proprietary large language model fine-tuned with innovative methods such as Unsloth. Early prototypes demonstrated high potential in perfectly capturing creator style and voice across diverse Indian dialects.
In 2025, Vakalo AI launched its MVP publicly, showcasing groundbreaking demos which successfully cloned the voice personality of leading Indian tech creators in multiple languages. The company currently operates with a lean team of two founders and two interns, diligently expanding its capabilities and onboarding founding partners for its beta program.
