Full-Stack Web and Mobile Developer
I was born and raised in South Africa, as a child, I showed a great deal of interest in things that consisted either of electronic or mechanical parts. From an early age I helped my father with the restoration of classic vehicles and machinery, the experience I gained by doing these tasks has helped me develop a wide array of important skills such as problem solving, logic, conceptual understanding and more.
I encountered my first computer around the age of 8, I remember being fascinated and wondered how exactly it all worked. At the time I only used it to perform general tasks like playing video games, but after receiving my own personal computer a few years later, I started experimenting with hardware in the pursuit of better gaming performance. It wasn't long before friends and family started labeling me as a computer wiz and asking me to help them solve their computer problems. I know today that the only reason I was consider a computer wiz at the time, was because the people around me just did not know much about computers, After all I was in South Africa!
In 2010 at the age of 19, I relocated from South Africa to Hong Kong and then started learning about computer programing. I immediately knew that this was the career path for me. Today I work as a full stack web application developer on a full-time basis, I also offer services on a subcontracting basis for some of the biggest design and development agencies in Hong Kong.
