I am a Finance professional (Chartered Accountant) with about 20 years Global exposure in the Middle East and Southern African markets, who have recently moved back to home country, India. Widespread experience in all aspects of Finance and accounting, having started my career as an one man Book keeper cum Admin Executive for a small company, and recently quit the Corporate world as the CFO of a 3000 employee strong Company operating in the Middle East. As a rookie, I loved book keeping, and then slowly moved up the corporate career ladder, through accounting, financial management and reporting, and became part of the key decision makers of the company having overall overview over the administration, finance, costing, human resources, purchases and logistics functions.
Extremely hands on and result oriented, with widely appreciated Corporate communication skills, I am well versed in different aspects of Accounting, from basic Book keeping to setting up accounting systems and teams, with knowledge gained from working with different industries like Hospitality, Retail, Trading etc.
I am a simple man with straightforward values, who believes that trust is difficult to earn, and once earned, should not be let gone. A true family person who enjoys his time with them, my personal interests are varied, and range from reading and travel to martial arts and farming.
Work Terms
I am quite flexible when it comes to my work timings, though I have established a 10 hrs per day, 5 days per week routine, which is consistent with my other schedules. Having said that, having had experience at various levels from different types of business, the criticality of tasks at hand will surely be considered with utmost importance, and the timings be adjusted accordingly.
I would like to bill my clients on a weekly basis, and be paid accordingly. And being a bit old fashioned, I usually do some allowances on payments, once I become more familiar with my clients and their requirements.
