Making a name for himself in New York as a visual artist and well known as a Symbolist, his painting style springs from a combination of forms that include a blending of Surrealism and Expressionism with Native & Pop Symbolism often influenced by various worlds of consciousness and thought. Subjects from History and Culture that include: Music, Art, Poetry, Science, Civil Rights and Religion. As well as areas of the Occult and Paranormal. Along with a constant obsession with the human form and features. Often using recycled wood, glass and plastic surfaces. His technique is inspired by stain glass, creating outlined shapes and bright colored figures. This resulting in a very psychedelic yet clearly defined depiction of his inner world. He’s done numerous commissioned pieces and portraits for and of artists such as NYC legends Patti Smith or Jim carroll. As well as continuing to show in group exhibitions like ” Post Cards From The Edge ” The Visual AIDS Benefit Charity Art Show 2 years sold and many others. He’s even experimented with painting on the human form as he sees it by way of tattoo design for various ink clad friends and fans of his work . Also working on effects makeup for a number of projects that include the film ” Likeness ” Directed by Andres Rojas & Tom See and The NYC Art Parade in Soho 2yrs with the acclaimed French painter & multi media artist Coco Dolle.

In 2011 he co-created, designed and illustrated The poetry book New Reality, ( ISBN # 978-84-7274-293-2 ) . Published by The Shakespeare Foundation of Spain. Produced in collaboration with poet-singer Pablo Conejero Lopez, with an acclaimed and successful release held at Kathy Grayson’s The Hole Gallery. Located on the Bowery, NYC’s legendary artistic hub. Guests enjoyed an exhibition of New Reality’s illustrations enlarged, a poetry reading of New Reality’s poems by a group of known artistic personalities including actress Paz De La Huerta, singer-songwriter Justin Dean Thomas & others.
