I am looking for some extra income doing transcription or subtitle work.
I am a native English speaker and have a bachelor's degree in science. I am currently teaching English to ESL students. I am skilled at simultaneous listening and typing or note taking. During university lectures, I could typically hold three to four sentences in my head while simultaneously listening to the lecture and writing notes on what I was hearing. I type quickly and accurately at about 60 WPM.
Work Terms
I get most of my freelancing work done on evenings and weekends, but I can be flexible, depending on delivery dates. If I need to ask a question or clarify something, I can communicate via email, but for more complex matters, a short video chat conversation is preferable.
