My name is Michael. I am a freelance writer. I mostly write about education and language because I know the field. I am a 36 year old male with a wife and daughter. My academic and vocational interests have always been in language. I was an English teacher for three years in China. Since then I received my B.A. degree (double major) in English (Linguistics) and Chinese.
I enjoyed teaching English, both in China and online. However, I have a greater affinity for writing. Throughout college I would always favor courses that emphasized essay composition. I believe that capturing ideas, putting them on paper and sharing them have lasting value.
I currently write content online. I also work part-time as an online English tutor for college level essay writing. I am seeking an employer who can provide a steady source of writing assignments. I will put everything I have into the content I write if hired. I am also willing to learn whatever skills are needed for any assignments that lie outside my expertise.
