Love God, family and work

I am a self-employed Chinese speaker with over 25 years of work experience in the translation industry in various fields such as philosophy, education, physics, aerospace/aviation, literature, travel/hospitality, business/finance, legal, chemical, energy, application documents, surveys, video subtitling and so forth. I have been working in the language pair of English and Chinese for all these years. I am familiar with different applications such as Microsoft Office and Adobe Reader.

I stayed in the UK for about one year, and I received an MA degree in Communications Studies from the University of Leeds in the UK. I had a BA degree in Translation and Interpretation from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies in South China. My English is not at the native speaker level, but at the intermediate level. I had no problem to communicate with clients at work.

I used to travel a lot as a backpacker. I travelled to 14 countries including Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Monaco, the Netherlands, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, the UK, Australia, and the Vatican. I also travelled extensively inside China.

I am highly responsible, easygoing, and self-motivated. I am able to fulfil different tasks at the same time individually, and work in a multicultural environment.

I am a Catholic. I love God, family and work. I believe God is residing in the depth of everyone’s heart, and I believe God has the power to cure everything. Do not withhold good from those who deserve it, when it is in your power to act. Do not say to your neighbor, "Come back later; I'll give it tomorrow" - when you now have it with you. (Proverbs 3:27-28) I believe I am supposed to help other people, if I am in the position to do so.
