I've been working for over 17 years in the software development industry. I've worn a multitude of hats, from engineer to engineering manager to solution architect to CTO, I know the ins and outs of broad and detailed solution design and development.

I've spent half of my career working on open source stacks, such as Scala/Java/PHP/
/Python/C++ on operating systems such as Linux/BSD. I've spent the last two years working with Spark, Python, Scala, .NET Core, NodeJS, Hadoop and MapReduce.
I've spent many years working with MySQL and Postgres as well.
The other half of my career was mostly on the Microsoft technology stack, .NET technologies, SQL Server. I'm also highly proficient in Oracle and Teradata databases. I worked a lot with C# and some F#, mainly on high availability high capacity enterprise applications. Close to a year was spent working on SAAS products delivered to over 1MM customers.
5 years ago I was working on a clustered cloud product, highly available, with an ultra low (sub 250 ms) response time.
After that I worked on a highly distributed global enterprise application framework that allows a well known Fortune 50 company the ability to dynamically re-orchestrate their business applications at a significantly reduced cost.
