AI Voice & SMS Assistant Setup Using Twilio or Bandwidth + Open Source LLM Integration
Details:
We are seeking an experienced developer to create a fully functional AI-powered voice and SMS assistant for our business, www.FieldServicesNationwide.com. The goal is to integrate open-source LLMs (such as OpenRouter or Whisper for speech-to-text) with a phone/SMS platform (Twilio or Bandwidth) to automate outbound communication with contacts listed in a spreadsheet (CSV or Google Sheets).
Key Requirements:
Expert-level experience with Twilio or Bandwidth (for voice call and SMS integration)
Experience with open-source LLMs, including Whisper (for speech-to-text) and OpenRouter or similar
Ability to integrate AI with a spreadsheet-based contact list
AI assistant must be able to:
Make outbound voice calls using a dedicated phone number
Deliver scripted or AI-generated responses dynamically during the call
Convert speech to text in real-time and log call outcomes
Send and receive SMS messages (for follow-ups or alternate communication)
Optional but preferred: basic knowledge of deploying the solution to support or integrate with our existing website
Deliverables:
A working AI voice assistant capable of making and handling calls
SMS text automation setup
Dashboard or interface for uploading/managing contact lists
Call/SMS log with transcripts and outcomes
Documentation for deployment and future scaling
