We're seeking a Capital Advisor to secure a low-interest loan using two museum-grade mineral specimens as collateral. Our aim is to achieve a rate below the current SOFR, leveraging the specimens' scientific and heritage value. Because the current SOFR (Secured Overnight Financing Rate) is ~3.65%, standard bank loans will exceed our 3% target. We require an advisor who can secure "Sub-SOFR" financing by leveraging the specimens' status as a scientific discovery and a "National Heritage" asset.

Scope of work

- Identify lenders or government agencies for Sub-SOFR (Secured Overnight Financing Rate) financing.

- Engage with scientific endowments and university lenders for research-friendly loans.

- Negotiate with lenders to emphasize the specimens' social and scientific impact.

- Oversee asset placement in a Tier-1 depository and manage SWIFT MT542.

- Coordinate CRT for loan liquidity.

  • Sub-SOFR Structuring: Identify lenders or government agencies capable of offering rates in the 2%–3% range by utilizing interest rate subsidies, research grants, or cultural heritage tax credits.

  • Grant & Endowment Liaison: Engage with scientific endowments and university-affiliated lenders who prioritize research access over high interest margins.

  • Lender Negotiation: Effectively explain that SOFR (the rate banks pay for overnight funds) should be offset by the "Social and Scientific Impact" of this unrecorded 3-billion-year-old discovery.

  • Collateral Management: Oversee the placement of assets into a Tier-1 depository (e.g., Malca-Amit) and coordinate the SWIFT MT542 "Block" to guarantee the lender's position.

  • Trust Integration: Coordinate with the Charitable Remainder Trust (CRT) to ensure loan proceeds provide the liquidity required for trust operations.
