Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Electrical and Electronics Engineer (Remote) to join our team. In this role, you will design, analyze, and support the development of electrical systems and electronic devices while working remotely with cross-functional teams.
You will use digital tools for circuit design, simulation, and documentation, ensuring projects meet performance, cost, and compliance requirements.
Must have extensive experience with Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs.
Must also be will to work New York times from 8am to 6pm and 12 noon to 10pm and remote into classrooms for instruction and engineering work, CAD drawings, etc.
Key Responsibilities
• Design, test, and optimize electrical and electronic circuits using CAD/CAE tools (e.g., OrCAD, Altium, MATLAB, AutoCAD, Multisim).
• Develop schematics, PCB layouts, and technical documentation.
• Conduct simulations and virtual prototyping to validate designs.
• Collaborate with software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams through remote platforms.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting via online tools and remote diagnostics.
• Ensure compliance with international electrical and electronic standards.
• Prepare design reports, bill of materials (BOMs), and test documentation.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends in electronics, AR/VR, IoT, embedded systems, and renewable energy.
Qualifications & Skills
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Technical Skills:
• Circuit design (analog & digital), PCB design, embedded systems.
• Proficiency in simulation and design software (e.g., MATLAB, Altium Designer, AutoCAD Electrical).
• Can handle/work on multiple tasks at a time.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for remote collaboration.
• Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to manage tasks independently.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams, SharePoint (preferred).
