We are expanding our engineering support team and are seeking a licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida for project-based, remote collaboration.
Position Overview:
We are looking for a Florida-licensed Electrical Engineer (PE) to support our team on an as-needed basis. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer who can efficiently produce, review, and stamp electrical plans for permitting and construction.
Scope of Work:
• Review, design, and stamp electrical plans for commercial and multifamily projects
• Provide load calculations, riser diagrams, and panel schedules
• Support permitting requirements across South Florida municipalities
• Review photometric layouts and lighting designs (preferred)
• Assist with EV charger infrastructure design (preferred)
• Provide engineering guidance for field conditions and code compliance
Requirements:
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of Florida (Required)
• Resides in South Florida (preferred for familiarity with local jurisdictions)
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local code requirements
• Experience with commercial, multifamily, and lighting projects
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit or similar design tools
• Ability to review and turnaround projects efficiently
