Music Copyright, Publishing & Digital Distribution Coordinator (80‑Song Spiritual Catalog)


Description:

Independent spiritual / medicine music label seeks a long‑term Music Rights & Digital Distribution Coordinator to protect and monetize a catalog of ~80 completed songs spanning multiple genre including folk, mantra, blues, reggae, Latin and meditation music.


Responsibilities:

- Register all compositions and sound recordings with the appropriate national copyright office(s).  

- Register songs with PRO(s) and publishing admin platforms; manage global royalty collection and writer/split data.  

- Build and maintain a master catalog spreadsheet for 80+ tracks (ISRCs, splits, lyrics, genres, moods, release groupings).  

- Upload and manage releases via digital distributors (e.g., DistroKid‑style), plus Bandcamp and similar platforms.  

- Help design a basic release structure (singles, EPs, albums, themed series) based on the existing catalog.  

- Monitor deliveries, fix metadata or delivery errors, and provide simple royalty / usage reports.  

- Support preparation of the catalog for sync and wellness placements (yoga/meditation apps, retreat libraries, spiritual content creators).


Ideal Experience:

- Proven experience in music rights/publishing administration and digital distribution for independent artists or labels.  

- Comfortable batch‑registering a large catalog (50+ titles) and keeping meticulous records.  

- Familiarity with folk, world, devotional, meditation, or wellness‑oriented music.  

- Excellent English communication and spreadsheet/organizational skills.
